So if you've been around for any length of time you probably can see that here at Piccadilly, we love a good party. A chance to throw some confetti, turn up the music and dance (albeit...awkwardly). What you might not know though, is that our love of celebrations isn't simply because we have a potentially unhealthy addiction to confetti. There's actually a bit more to the story and if you will indulge me, I'd love to share it with you.
When I started Piccadilly a few years ago, I looked around me and I saw a need. It wasn't necessarily a need for more balloons or even parties, instead I saw a need for moments of celebration. I saw people going throughout their busy lives and rarely taking the time to stop and celebrate the moments and more importantly, the people that give life meaning.
I think we can all agree that as individuals, we all want to know that who we are matters. We want to know that our contribution to this great big, beautiful and sometimes overwhelming world, matters. We want to know that we're seen and that we are appreciated. Simply put, we want to be celebrated.
It was out of this realization that the dream for Piccadilly was born. I wanted to create something that gave people, like you and me, the reminders and resources to call a time-out and appreciate the people and moments around them. Create a chance to quite literally, stop and smell the roses. My dream is to see people celebrating a random Tuesday with the same gusto that we usually reserve for a birthday or graduation. Because, honestly, why not?
In today's world, we're all too aware of the fact that life is short. Seasons of life change as if over night. Children grow up. Loved ones pass on. Days turn into months and months into years. At the risk of sounding just a bit cheesy, it really is true, today will never happen again. I don't know about you, but I want to make the most of the moments I'm given. I want to celebrate those in my world with over-the-top joy and a good dose of confetti.
So THAT is why we're here. Consider us your confetti tutors, your celebration coaches, and your SUPER COOL PARTY PEOPLE (Thank you Lorelai Gilmore!). We're here to help you call the time out. We're here to help you plan the party. We're here to help you let those around you know how much you appreciate and celebrate them.
I'm looking forward to all that 2018 has in store. We've got a calendar full of fun in store. Would you consider joining our VIP Party List below?
